Roadpro OFF-GRID 180: 180Ah/200A 12V Low-case Lithium Battery
Roadpro’ s OFF-GRID 180 batteries conform to their own specifications and, in their opinion, are amongst the best 12V lithium leisure batteries available. Special features make them ideal for use in motorhomes, caravans, campervans and boats as well as emergency and other specialist vehicles. With the same dimensions as a typical 110Ah lead-acid battery, one or even two of these 180Ah models will fit under the front seat of many motorhomes, providing 360Ah, around six times the usable energy of a typical lead-acid leisure battery. The high continuous discharge rate of 200 Amps means that it can be safely used with many 240V appliances running from an inverter, including induction hobs, microwave ovens and even air-conditioning. The maximum charge rate of 200 Amps allows it to be rapidly recharged as well.
High-quality cells and a sophisticated battery management system (BMS) ensure that the OFF-GRID 180 provides electrical power safely, efficiently and reliably. Active balancing looks after the cells and, when two or more batteries are connected in parallel, the BMS units in each battery recognise this and show the combined batteries as one. This makes it very easy to monitor the batteries' performance.
The OFF-GRID 180 has a simple-to-use app for both Android and iPhone and built-in heaters to enable charging even in low temperatures.
With a cycle life of up to 8,000 full charge/discharge cycles (depending on how the battery is used) and a bullet-proof warranty, for most people, this will probably be the last leisure battery they ever need to buy.

IMPORTANT!! Installation of any LiFePO4 lithium battery is possible in most motorhomes, campervans and boats that use lead-acid leisure / auxiliary batteries. However, if the battery is to work efficiently and safely for its estimated lifetime, it's essential that it is installed correctly. This means that the charging voltages of the alternator, the mains charger and a solar panel - if fitted - are appropriate for the battery. If they are not, the battery can be quickly damaged.
If the vehicle is fitted with a
"smart alternator", it will be necessary to fit a suitable battery to
battery (DC-DC) charger as well.
