Fogstar Drift Lithium Batteries

Utilising the latest Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) technology, and built using EVE Grade A LiFePO4 prismatic cells, the multi award-winning team at Fogstar Batteries have developed the ultimate lithium leisure batteries.

The batteries provide an incredibly powerful energy storage solution for motor movers, caravans, nautical applications, home energy storage and solar panels.

All of the lithium leisure batteries come with a JBD Battery Management System (BMS), Bluetooth for use with the Fogstar Drift App, a built-in heater and 10-year warranty as standard.

The Fogstar Drift App has been custom built to connect directly with the BMS, allowing you to manage and maintain the health of the battery at all times. The Fogstar Drift app is free to download on both Android and iOS. 

All Fogstar batteries have a built-in heater that heats the battery to 5°C to enable charging at low temperatures. You can connect to this battery via Bluetooth with an app that gives you real time battery statistics

Quality Assurance 

Safety is paramount when it comes to Lithium batteries, that's why Fogstar have taken time to ensure their products meet the strictest safety, health and environmental protection requirements.

All Drift batteries are deemed safe and compliant for shipping under the UN3480 classification for Hazardous Goods. The process for classification is long and complex but ensures critical quality certification programmes exist for our products before shipping by Air, Sea or Road.

Fogstar batteries must adhere to strict regulations and must be handled, stored and transported accordingly (as per UN3480 and the supporting regulations).

Fogstar batteries also carry CE markings. CE markings demonstrate our commitment to EU safety, health and environmental requirements. It also illustrates our compliance with EU legislation and enables their batteries to be transported within the European market.

The UKCA markings found on Fogstar batteries signifies compliance to UK product standards and legislation. Their products have undergone extensive testing to ensure they comply with all the required standards.

** The Fogstar Drift Seat Base underseat includes a convenient on/off switch, allowing you to put the battery into hibernation mode without needing the app. You'll also find an input for the Fogstar Drift (JK) 2A Active Balancer, ideal for those

 who prefer to manually balance their battery cells.

However, thanks to the high-quality, matched EVE cells in our Drift batteries, most users won’t need to use an Active Balancer frequently. If you notice any cell disparity, we recommend plugging in the device every three to six months for a few cycles to maintain optimal cell balancing.

IMPORTANT!!  Installation of any LiFePO4 lithium battery is possible in most motorhomes, campervans and boats that use lead-acid leisure / auxiliary batteries. However, if the battery is to work efficiently and safely for its estimated lifetime, it's essential that it is installed correctly. This means that the charging voltages of the alternator, the mains charger and a solar panel - if fitted - are appropriate for the battery. If they are not, the battery can be quickly damaged.

If the vehicle is fitted with a "smart alternator", it will be necessary to fit a suitable battery to battery (DC-DC) charger as well.
